I love the story this book unveils. I love that it bacically tells two different stories and brings them together in the end. Sara Gruen out did herself on this one. When I read this book, I could feel what the characters were going through. I could feel their emotions. I felt I was living life with the characters as the book unfolded. This book is very well written. I have referred it to many.
The Heart of Mid

Thought it looked cheap and would break when I first looked at it. Also, it’s so light, so it’s kind of deceiving. I was thinking, “how can something so light be so powerful?” When I put it together and turned the vacuum on, I was like, whoa! It’s powerful for it’s size and sucks up a lot at a time. Light, but powerful. Good vacuum. I would recommend it.

Our family adopted a bearded collie from a local shelter. Not knowing anything about the breed we found she needed extra grooming care. Beardies have a thick coat and undercoat that mats easily. After an initial $70 haircut, trying to keep up with just brushing, the FURminator was recommended to us. She will never need another $70 haircut again. Every 5 days we use this product on her coat and she looks newly groomed. I would recommend the FURminator to anyone with a dog long hair or short.

I just received the hoover tempo vacuum today [model u5140900) so I’ll need to add an additional review later after I’ve used it a few more times for cleaning my home. What I want to call out today is that if you purchase this vacuum it is not the one with “select model features” = check bag indicator, headlight, or embedded dirtfinder (red/green light highlights areas that may need more cleaning. Based upon running the vaccuum for the first time today I think that I will still be VERY pleased with the purchase especially for the price but I don’t want anyone to be disappointed.

I bought this remote to make PowerPoint presentations and I have to say I am pretty satisfied with the purchase. It does what it claims, installation was painless, just insert the transmitter into USB port and WinXP can recognize the device. I haven’t tested the maximum operating distance, but I never experienced a problem with the laptop not responding to my actions. Just a couple things I would like to mention that I feel need improvement.

First, it’s difficult to turn on the laser pointer. You need to press one button and then hold two buttons together and wait for 10 seconds. And the same you would like to turn it off. I cannot really understand if such complexity is really necessary.

Second, the battery used is the round flat one, like the one in the watches, just bigger. You can find it online, but not in the convenience store. I would rather them use a standard one.

Otherwise, I think for the money that is the best you can do. Comparable Logitech model is probably better, but costs $100 more at the time of this review.

This was my first experience hanging any type of wallpaper, and I was quite nervous about it. Before ordering we measured our walls, and decided we needed 46 feet of the wallpaper. Each roll is about 30 feet, so we ordered two rolls. When it came time to hang the paper we measured each wall and added 1/4″ inch of length to each measurement and cut the paper to length. We then filled up a large yet shallow plastic storage bin with a few inches of water ran the paper through it, the paper only had to be in the water for a second or two. As the paper left the water we folded it up accordion style with the glue contacting the two sides and let it sit for three or four minutes. To hang my wife and I each stood on a ladder in the corner of the room and pulled the paper tight pressing it into the wall. The extra 1/4″ that we measured out before was wrapped around the adjoining walls 1/8th of an inch. This is done in case the wall or wallpaper expands/contracts or moves, you will not be stuck with the wall wall being exposed where the paper formerly covered. After the wallpaper was pushed onto the wall and in place, my wife and I went over the paper with a stain brush (available in the paint department at most big box hardware stores), the brush pushed the bubbles out of the paper and ensure consistent contact with the wall. To cover the 108 square foot room it took my wife and I less than an hour and was much easier and less stressful than I had feared.

I have used this for about two months now and it has seen some 10 degree mornings. Seems to keep working well, although the heart rate monitor cuts out once your sensors dry from the cold.

Once again, gilding the lily, but this book should get 5 stars overall. So that is why I am rating it. I could not put this book down. The honest, no-nonsense style of writing is compelling and addicting. When I finished it, like my youth, I was melancholy that it was over.
