From the description given of Water For Elephants I wasn’t sure I would like it, but was intrigued just the same. I am usually more of a horror fan, but to my surprise, I LOVED IT! Action packed, heartbreaking, and a little glimpse of what scares us all about growing older.
Wonderfully written and a definite page turn, you just can’t put down. I look forward to reading more works from Sara Gruen.

I can’t believe how much hair this brush gets. When I brush my dog I just keep brushing and brushing, getting handfulls of hair, and it just keeps coming off. After he even feels different around his but and neck where he sheds the worst. It feels like it is getting out all the under hair that is ready to come out. And it doesn’t pull, he gets excited when I get the brush out.

I also can’t believe how much cheaper it is on here. At petco and petsmart it was around $60, and at my local pet stoer it is $90 for the same exact thing.

Love the book but with the new prices for the books on Kindle. ..I will not be adding them to my electronic book collection. Why the sudden increase in price? Honestly, if I can buy the paperback for cheaper I refuse to pay more for the electronic version!

However if you are looking for an excellent series, these are great books! I’m just going to keep my old fashioned set.

This was a really good book it took you into a world that you never even think about or know anything about I would recomend this book to everyone it was a page tuner and had a great end had a lot of nail bitting moments and parts that made you cry or cry laughing in all it was a great book.

We have a saying here “like water for an elephant” which means a useless gesture. Loosely translated, it means a that there is a certain uselessness to give someone who is VERY poor anything – for the very reason that it will never be enough. The elephants in the wild travel in herds and are usually the first to suck a water hole dry. The metaphor is complete implying the uselessness of bringing a thirsty elephant a bucket of water, or several, to quench its thirst.

As soon as I saw the big top cover I was even more interested. I read once that when circus elephants arrived in a town, many kids would gather and offer to bring water to the elephant so it could drink and they may be rewarded with free tickets. Maybe this was it?? The figure of a man entering a Big top from the side flap, only to see a figure looking in from the main door struck me as if it were something I was not supposed to see. This was the beginning of a mezmerizing journey….

1)Customer Service: BAD – When my light tore I wrote them an email and nobody every wrote back.

2)Light Beam: GOOD – Nice and visible.

3)Silicone Casing: FRAGILE – Great idea, but it is tearing near the on/off button and the strap broke when i tried to wrap it around my handlebar stem…maybe I should have just stuck to strapping it to the handlebar.

If you have a PS3 and a plasma over 32″ and appreciate HD you will be sickened by the Wii. The graphics are tragically horrid. The lack of response in the controllers compared to other gaming system is also not an appreciated attribute. That said, if you are considering this for your 5 year old or you really like to be active this is the system for you! The games that involve activity just don’t exist outside the Wii in the same manner so for that fact alone it’s worth the purchase if you want to move around. If you seek aesthetics and rapid response stick with XBox 360 or Playstation 3.
