Don’t think about Summit Student 1 Book

I received this kindle last Christmas from my grandfather and it is by far the best gift I think I have ever received.I love how you can get almost every book online and its actually a reasonable price and if the publisher hasn’t made a kindle version yet but there is a PDF version floating around online then its simple enough to purchase the software that will convert it for you. Whats better is, being a college student I have a lot of text books to carry around, well since most text books come with a CD version it was simple enough to convert it from PDF onto the kindle. SOOOOOO MUCH EASIER and convenient!

I will admit though that last month my kindle was bumped and got an odd horizontal line across the screen that just wouldnt go away. After finding out that its a fairly common defect I contacted Amazon. Within 10 minutes I received a call from them and everything was squared away, the sent me a new kindle (arrived 2 days after the call) and were deeply apologetic about the inconvenience. This product is WONDERFUL!! GREAT FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS!

No more .. Counting Twelve Book Friends

Outstanding grooming tool for our pug. It hasn’t cured him of leaving fur everywhere he walks but it sure helps. I ended up buying my sister one for her two pugs an hour after we used ours for the first time and she was ecstatic after using it.

Just got Wisdom The Book of

I decided to try this pedometer after using Digiwalkers aka Accusplit for about 8 years. I wanted something that would be more accurate in my pocket because while the Digiwalkers I have used (2 in 8 years) have been great as far as on the waistband, once in awhile in my pocket they tilt and stop counting. Well this one not only doesn’t START counting when clipped to my waist or bra, it does not count in my pocket at all! I usually walk according to the Digiwalker Accusplit mode 170XLGM JW200 about 7,000 steps working–this registered 654. I tried various ways of putting the Omron in the pocket to count to no avail. My husband’s generic pedometer he got during some employee health week counted within 100 steps of the Digiwalker (I had all 3 pedometers on for 2 days now). I’m disappointed and surprised at how many positive reviews this product has and wondering what I am doing wrong. I do like the memory function, it’s easy to set up, and the screen is easy to read–but if it’s not accurate it’s useless. Plus it’s INCREDIBLY bulky.

What people think about Book Noble Barnes Lovers

I agree with most everything that recent favorables reviews have said. A couple of additional things that I’ll emphasize.

1) Easy to use. Step on and get your reading immediately. Big clear display with blue backlighting makes it easy to read, even in the dark.
2) Stylish. Looks cool with the near transparent glass platform and sits elegantly in a corner of my bathroom.
3) The glass is nicer than some of the other scales that I have had where after a while water stains appear or water loosens the adhesive of the scale covering causing it to peel back and looking unsightly.

Only two minor things I’ll mention (probably because I’m picky):
a) The manual said that the default factory setting was in pounds, but the switch on the underside of the scale was set to kilograms. Not a big deal as the switch is easy to change; still it was a surprise.
b) One day I accidently stepped on the edge of the scale (it’s tempered transparent glass), and because of the positioning of the feet relative to the edge of the glass platform, the scale flipped up. I was afraid that I was about to break the glass, but I caught it in time. This hasn’t happened again as I’m more careful. The glass may be strong enough to handle flipping over, but I would not recommend this scale for a child’s bathroom because of the potential for glass breakage. I’m sure that’s why it is made of tempered glass to make it as safe as possible; no one would cut themselves, but it would be a mess.
